The restoration of Claridge's Foyer has been undertaken by the internationally-acclaimed architect and designer, Thierry Despont. Crowning the Foyer from its 18 ft high ceiling is a magnificent Dale Chihuly silver-white light sculpture, assembled from more than 800 individually hand-blown glass pieces. The Foyer is perfect for light meals, afternoon tea and cocktails. Musical entertainment is played every day from 3pm to 9.30pm. The Reading Room is the preferred venue for intimate dining in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. Here, enjoy the ceremony of taking Afternoon Tea, the most civilized part of the day. From Heathrow Airport- Leave The Airport onto the M4 in direction Central London. Follow the road through Chiswick and onto Brompton Road into Knightsbridge. Pass Harrods on your right and go up to Hyde Park Corner. Continue straight using the underpass into Piccadilly. Take the first turn after Green Park Station into Berkeley Street- which leads into Berkeley Square. Take the fourth exit into Davies Street. The Hotel is on your right after two blocks. Turn right into Brook Street for the main entrance.
